Stunning vintage Huipil textile from Guatemala, this is incredibly beautiful. Black velvet stitched around the neck and along part of the sides where armholes would have been.
Neck to hem measures 39 inches long (The front and the back have this measurement)
Across the body measures 30 inches wide
Decorative weave runs 25 inches down from shoulder on front and back.

Frame or hang as-is as wall decor for the textile collector. The color is a beautiful bluish green.

You could also repurpose into pillows, or coordinate back into denim or cotton clothing as a focal point. This vintage huipil fabric has a casual yet polished look.

This Guatemalan fabric is in excellent condition.  No damage to the decorative areas. Substantial fabric has a weave similar tapestry, but it's more pliable. This Guatemalan textile is right at home in a boho home or jungalow style setting.

Washable, cool water, but I recommend dry cleaning.
