Mud cloth Bogolan Antique Textile. This is a beautiful piece of textile art in excellent condition for the collector. Hand crafted in the early 1900s, the decorative tribal patterns were created with fermented mud dye. This vintage African hand loomed cotton strip cloth has original hand-stitching and a fine weave. This authentic Bogolan is very old, worthy of framing, and priced accordingly.

This has a lovely soft quality that works as a neutral in a global-style home, a contemporary environment in need of a soft touch, or an eclectic coastal home. Hand crafted vintage textile comes from Mali, Africa.

I have cleaned this item so it's odor-free and stain-free and ready for use.
