Chinese Indigo batik fabrics that are not reproductions are becoming increasingly hard to find in these big sizes. This incredible textile has a clean indigo blue and white pattern found on porcelain and fabrics. These textiles are also called paste resist textiles. Nearly the entire cloth is covered with pattern so you could make a large floor pouf, many pillows, or upholster a chair!
This is an authentic vintage batik/block print fabric. This textile has koi, lanterns, and flowers throughout. This vintage indigo textile is filled with lovely Chinese motifs.
This is a completely hand-crafted fabric and was hand-batik dyed using natural indigo dyes. A Nanking Tribe indigo such as this one has a lot of pattern and personality to lend character to a space. This lovely clean indigo blue piece is a vintage find and is in very good condition. Wonderful antique fabric has a sturdy denim-like weight appropriate for a one-off upholstery project or any home or apparel end use. Repurpose in any way imaginable!

I have laundered this vintage indigo batik fabric so it's ready for use.
***This hand made item is in good condition. It's made up of three pieces sewn together to make one wide textile. Ends are unfinished. See photo 5 for some small holes in the cloth.
The back of this cloth still has some of the wool batten fragments stuck to it, but this isn't seen on the front side.
As with many vintage textile pieces, this Asian Nanking Tribe indigo batik has some imperfections such as repaired seams and other signs of age.
