Vintage African traditional top and pants, Aso Oke textiles in neutral beige and navy blue cotton, African art wear. This garment set is made from collectible African textiles.
This vintage African outfit is very oversized. It can be worn or used as a wall art display. Small pockets under each armhole. Contrasting striped facing at neckline. This apparel is made from several narrow strips of cloth stitched together to make one wider cloth, then cut and sewn into a one of a kind ceremonial costume.
Woven in warm flax-beige with navy blue and white geometric patterns woven throughout.
This Aso Oke is in very good vintage condition.
Top measures: 33 inches long
34 inches across chest = 68 inches around chest.
45 inches wide across hemline = 90 inch sweep.
Pant measures:
29 inches long
66 inches at waist when not pulled tight with cord.
Has a crisp hand.
Dry Cleaning recommended to preserve colors.
