Large vintage denim throw. African mud cloth with fringe. Shibori tonal designs made by hand. One patch also from vintage mud cloth and hand sewn on this heavy denim textile.
Gorgeous, one of a kind sturdy denim throw. This is a very clean textile that has some areas of lighter fading. Stripes were created by hand with a shibori tie dyed technique.
Display on a textile ladder or place at the foot of a bed.
Including the fringe: Measures 84 inches long x 44 inches wide. This is very large for this type of African textile.
This mud cloth indigo is in very good vintage condition.
***As with many antique & vintage pieces, this may have several imperfections such as repaired seams, fraying at the ends, and other possible signs of age.
