Vintage African fabric. This black, blue, and neutral flax color vintage Aso Oke textile is from Yoruba, Africa. This piece is in fair vintage condition for those who enjoy the perfectly imperfect history of a cloth. This unique fabric is made from several narrow strips of cloth sewn together to make one wide cloth.
Measures 75 inches long x 22 inches wide .
This statement fabric is made from natural flax color cotton and accent yarns in contrasting shades of black with blue silk geometric patterns. This African Aso Oke cloth would work well as pillow covers, quilting, or used at the foot of a bed. Medium weight with a softer drape than is typical of these textiles. Hand-loomed in Africa and one-of-a-kind.
***As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this African cloth has wear-n-tear. The fabric is textural to the touch. Not at all thread-bare but many discolored areas. Please examine photos for wear.
