Very Large authentic cotton and silk mud cloth (Fulani, Hausa) ethically sourced from Northern Africa.
A) Measures 102” Long x 51”/52” across.
Laundered for you in Southern California.
This is not like 100% cotton mud cloth. This cotton and silk blend is softer and meant to be used as a large throw or bedcover.
This African Hausa textile has a lofty but light weight. This is not vintage. New condition with classic textural hand-made ends are frayed and knotted fringe.
This Hausa cloth has been loomed in narrow strips which are then hand sewn together to form one large cloth.
As with all hand crafted pieces, this may have several imperfections such as cotton slubs, reconnected strips of cloth, fraying at the ends, and other signs evident with small-batch creations.
These are the laundered measurements so they won’t get smaller, but they may grow slightly.
