Washed and ready to use, this vintage African textile is called an Ewe Kente Cloth. clean vintage condition. This cotton textile tells its story in classic shades of indigo blue, red, and white. Use as a throw, make pillows or frame and use for wall decor.
This vintage fabric comes from the Ewe people of Ghana, Africa and each is one-of-a-kind. This Kente cloth has a woven pattern that intentionally resembles the indigenous baskets woven in Ghana.
I have gentle-washed with a delicate textile soap so it's ready for use.
***As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this African textile has normal wear and tear.
***some of the seams may separate due to the construction of this strip cloth. This is considered normal for these vintage textiles.
